In the video that has gone viral on social media, the senator was seen on a man’s shoulder. The two were in the midst of a crowd.
Khalwale and another man were carried on the shoulders of two men, and they chanted and sang as they carried sticks.
There was a mistep, and the man fell forward, pulling the senator to the ground with him. A man was seen quickly helping the politician to his feet.
Fans of the bullfighting event noted that falling was part of the exciting event; and it was no big deal to see the senator fall to the ground.
Others questioned whether the man carrying the politician was intoxicated and whether Khalwale sustained injuries.
Did Khalwale’s bull kill his caretaker?
Kenyans recalled the day when the politician’s bull attacked and killed one of his employees, Kizito Moi Amukune in 2024. The man had worked for Khalwale for 20 years.
The story caused a stir on social media, as the man had only received his salary just before the beast attacked him.
The senator keeps several bulls due to his love for bullfighting. The senator, in his message, alleged that his caretaker might have passed by the drinking den after receiving his salary.
