The young man is currently under treatment at the Murang’a Level 5 Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment, surrounded by loved ones.
Pastor Irungu collapsed after 79 hours and 40 minutes in his 80-hour tree-hugging marathon challenge. He is currently in stable condition.
