Why did Jerop get married after 2010 KCSE?

Jerop opted for marriage due to peer pressure and the belief that she had not performed well academically.

“We engaged with my husband in 2010 and later separated due to personal issues. I decided to go back to school later to pursue and fulfil my dream of becoming a nurse,” Jerop said.

She was only 21 years old when she got pregnant and married the father of her two children, abandoning hopes of ever going back to school.

“I was naive in the ways of life. I didn’t value education. Life taught me many things while in marriage. It was not long before I opted out,” she added.

Which institution did Jerop join?

Jerop later decided to return to school, telling TUKO.co.ke that she first went to college, where she pursued a diploma in business management.
