Did Atwoli gift relative Prado for KCSE performance?
Amid mixed reactions to the results, a viral photo doing the rounds online showed Atwoli with a young man.
The image depicted the long-serving COTU boss outside a lush home with greenery.
Atwoli wore a striped blue suit and shook the young man’s hand.
The teenager held a gift box with his other hand.
Atwoli held up car keys, and behind them was a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
The SUV featured a red ribbon, indicating that it was a gift.
The Prado’s base price based on local listings is around KSh 5 million, but could quadruple depending on the year of manufacture and trim level.
“Atwoli gifts his nephew a Land Cruiser Prado for his exemplary performance in KCSE,” one post read.
Yet another post claimed that the boy was Atwoli’s son.
The post prompted the COTU boss to respond.
