A Nairobi TikToker has shared how American streaming sensation IShowSpeed’s visit turned into a financial blessing for him, earning him KSh 10,000 in a single day.

The boda boda rider narrated that he made the money by ferrying two enthusiastic fans who wanted to follow IShowSpeed to every stop during his packed Nairobi schedule.
According to him, the pair hired his motorbike for hours, insisting he trail the streamer wherever he went within the city.

From the moment he landed, he soaked in the local vibe, including a warm reception capped by a welcome message from President William Ruto.
His itinerary included a lively visit to Upper Hill School, where he interacted with students and even played rugby, before heading to Nairobi National Park to feed animals and sample Kenyan delicacies such as nyama choma and ugali.
The YouTuber also enjoyed a ride in one of Nairobi’s iconic customised matatus, Delirium, mingled with fans in Mukuru, experienced a rally car drive and took a helicopter ride that offered breathtaking aerial views of the city.

For the TikToker, however, the highlight was the unexpected payday.
“Yesterday was my day. Imagine I made a clean KSh 10,000,” he said in a video.
He said the two men gave him KSh 10,000 after five hours, a sum he’d never received before.
“I met two rich kids who told me to follow IShowSpeed anywhere he would go. I followed him bumper to bumper on my Boxer 150 until the end of his show at KICC. After five hours, they paid me KSh 10,000. I’ve never made that kind of money in a day. IShowSpeed, thank you. You made my day.”
