The state corporation, mandated to transform urban mobility, is seeking dynamic professionals to join its ranks on three year contracts.

Which jobs vacancies are available at KURA?

The advertised roles, detailed in a public notice on January 13, range from senior leadership to support staff, as shown in the table below

They include one Director of Engineering, fourteen Engineer II positions, three Assistant Inspector of Roads III, one Finance & Accounts Officer II, four Assistant Office Administrator III, and ten Driver III positions.

Interested candidates have until February 2, 2026, at 5pm East African Time, to submit their applications.

Prospective applicants are directed to visit the official KURA Careers Website to obtain detailed job specifications and responsibilities, as well as to download the mandatory KURA Job Application Form.

Completed forms must be signed, dated, and accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates, transcripts, testimonials, and a curriculum vitae.

Before receiving an offer, they will be required to present a tax compliance certificate, HELB clearance, a certificate of good conduct from the DCI, a self-declaration form from the EACC, and a clearance certificate from an approved credit reference bureau.

The authority also issued a stern warning to the public, stating that it does not charge any fees for applications, shortlisting, or interviews, and cautioned applicants to beware of fraudsters.

Notably, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stages of the recruitment process.

Job vacancies on the Nairobi Expressway

In other news, the Moja Expressway Company Limited has announced a recruitment exercise to hire 20 toll attendants to support operations on the Nairobi Expressway.

The entry-level roles involve working at toll points along the 27-kilometre road from Mlolongo to the James Gichuru junction.

Successful candidates will be responsible for collecting toll fees, maintaining facilities, and supporting day-to-day expressway operations.

Applicants must hold at least a Diploma, have basic IT skills, and while prior experience is an advantage, it is not mandatory.
