The Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency (LVNWWDA) has advertised 50 career opportunities for Kenyan job seekers.

The agency published the vacancies in an advertisement in the government newspaper MyGov on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
As part of the water sector reforms in accordance with the 2010 Kenyan Constitution, LVNWWDA is one of the nine water sector development agencies created under the Water Act 2016.

What is application deadline for LVNWWDA jobs?
LVNWWDA noted the positions would help it carry out its water and sanitation works in Kakamega, Bungoma, Nandi, Trans-Nzoia and Busia counties.
Successful candidates will be deployed in several projects in the said counties.
“The projects shall be implemented within a period of one to two years. However, subject to satisfactory performance, successful candidates may be converted to permanent and pensionable terms of service.
Please submit your application with a detailed CV, including both day and evening telephone numbers, as well as certified copies of your academic and professional certificates. Applications should reach the CEO on or before Monday, February 2, 2026, at the close of business,” the advertisement read.

Which documents should candidates prepare?
The agency reiterated that successful candidates will be required to submit a tax compliance certificate, HELB clearance, CRB and good conduct certificate, and EACC clearance.
Career development associate Simon Ingari advised candidates to prepare the documents early, pointing out that they take time to be processed by relevant government institutions.
“These documents often take time to process. Many candidates lose opportunities because they wait until the last minute. If you are serious about a government career, always keep them updated and valid,” he told TUKO.co.ke.

In other news, the Nairobi Expressway advertised 20 job opportunities for toll attendants.
