The company is offering an entry point into one of the country’s most significant transport infrastructure projects.

The vacancies present an opportunity for qualified individuals to join the team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 27-kilometre toll road that stretches from Mlolongo to the James Gichuru junction.

Operating under a public-private partnership, Moja Expressway is tasked with transforming public transport towards a “connected and intelligent future,” with a mission centred on “Comfort, Convenience, and Connectivity.”

What are the responsibilities of toll attendants?

Successful candidates will be stationed at various toll points along the expressway in Nairobi.

Their core duties will involve the direct collection of toll fees from motorists and ensuring the prescribed maintenance of facilities, as well as other responsibilities as assigned by the company.

Who can apply for toll attendant positions?

The company is seeking candidates with a minimum academic qualification of a diploma.

While prior work experience in a similar position is preferred, it is not a mandatory barrier, making this an ideal entry-level opportunity.

Applicants are also required to possess basic IT skills, to deal with the increasingly digital nature of modern toll operations.

Available jobs at the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA)

In other news on TUKO.co.ke, the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced 33 vacancies across six positions, offering three-year contract opportunities for qualified professionals.

The advertised roles range from senior to support staff, including Director of Engineering, Engineer II, Assistant Inspector of Roads III, Finance and Accounts Officer II, Assistant Office Administrator III, and Driver III.
