She revealed that the church venue would be permanently closed after their five-year lease at the Biashara Plaza building rooftop expired.
“This decision is strategic and forward-looking. As a ministry, we are trusting God to secure our own permanent place, land that will host a church sanctuary, a television ministry, and a school. This step is about ownership, legacy, and long-term impact,” Natasha explained, outlining her plans for ECC.
She reassured her congregation that the closure of the physical church would not disrupt worship, with services continuing through online platforms.
“ECC is more than a building. Our services continue fully online, and our global digital church reaches over 10 million people worldwide. Millions have been touched through our online services, and that impact continues. Our outreaches and compassion initiatives will continue, and our online services remain strong as we trust God for our own space,” she wrote.
Natasha also cautioned the public against false rumours surrounding the closure and called for unity among her congregants.
“To those spreading falsehoods, I choose forgiveness. To our sons and daughters, ministry partners, and friends: let us stand together as we step into this next level. If God places it on your heart, you can partner with us as we move forward. It is the beginning of something greater,” she said.

Netizens react to ECC’s permanent closure
Natasha’s update that the church would be closed permanently sparked reactions online. Here are some of the messages social media commentators shared:
Bilal Kimeu:
“I knew mama. You don’t even need to come out and justify things. The pain of ministry is deeper than the depth of an ocean. But God is faithful and renews strength.”
Joyce Pakade:
“Be strong and courageous as you push forward for a bigger vision. The mandate is already approved; it’s only the orchestration and acceleration towards completion that need prayers. But it is already done in Jesus’ name. You will possess your possession, Woman of God. No devil will stand on your way.”
Ontiretse Lydia Keitumetse:
“It’s a new year of new beginnings, mama. I know what is coming is bigger than what we think. Take your time and build your legacy; you are a blessing to many.”
Benedetha Nduku:
“The darkest hour comes before dawn.”
Kilelu Junior:
“I always thought such a great ministry should have obtained its permanent land, since it has millions of followers, anyway God’s given time is always the Best. Big up.”
