Kilifi, Kenya; Madam Christine Busolo, the principal of Kombeni Girls’ High School, is the talk of the town after she donned a school uniform to welcome students to school.

Where is Kombeni Girls’ School?
Kombeni Girls High School is a girls’ secondary school categorised as C1 under the new Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum and expected many students during Grade 10 admissions.

Busolo made headlines after wearing the school uniform during the Grade 10 admission exercise, and it surprised students and parents alike.
What was unique about Christine Busolo’s outfit?
When Busolo’s photo came out, some people advised her to extend to the tracksuits so that she could go to the field to play with the girls as well.
“You will win the hearts of those girls,” said Jamila Ouko.
Some people also thought that she was setting a good example for the students so that they could learn to appreciate their uniforms. Some people also thought that it would make other principals down-to-earth while dealing with students.
Some people thought that Busolo looked very beautiful, smarter and definitely younger than some students.

According to Affecto organisation founder Ndung’u Nyoro, teachers in the old days could never wear uniforms and bring themsleevs to the level of the young ones.
