Reports revealed that the preacher’s church was marked for demolition. In a clip that surfaced on social media, he challenged the government to demolish his church.

He noted that he was aware of the demolition plans and claimed that he bought the piece of land from the government.

Ng’ang’a did not share plans on how he learnt that his church was earmarked for demolition.

The pastor noted that he was ready to take the demolition fight head-on, and he would fight for his rights.

“Every year I heard someone saying that they will come to demolish this place, just come. I was not given it; I bought it from the government. This is not my kiosk; this is the Lord’s dwelling place. We will leave it for other people to worship the Lord,” he said.

Was Ng’ang’a’s church illegally acquired?

The preacher’s church was listed by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) among parcels illegally hived from Kenya Railways’ land in 2024.

He explained how he acquired ownership of the land in 2004 and sent money to the Central Bank of Kenya.

Nga’ng’a noted that he completed payment in 2008.
