In the lead-up to the match, Eric has been actively sharing hilarious skits and memes to publicly back United, keeping fans entertained.
During a fundraiser for ailing celebrity barber Sam Kitiki at Uhuru Park, Eric went a step further.
While rallying Kenyans to visit the stand for haircuts to support Kitiki’s treatment, an Arsenal fan joined him on the podium.
Eric praised United, expressed his confidence ahead of the clash, and even dared the fan to take off his Arsenal jersey in exchange for a cash reward.
The fan declined, prompting Eric to raise the stakes further, eventually offering KSh 75,000, which the Arsenal supporter also refused, showing faith in his team.
Undeterred, Eric declared that he would shave off his signature dreadlocks if Arsenal managed to beat Manchester United.
In his words:
“You guys can take this, Manchester will beat Arsenal and the game will end 2-1. I respect you for declining KSh 75,000; if your players were like you, the club would be far. If we are beaten, I am going to shave,” he joked, adding that it would be his armpits instead.
