What are Stacy’s expectations from the internship?
According to Stacy, she learnt about the internship programme through the PSC portal and applied right there; that is where one puts in their documents, the originals.
“After a month they get called for an interview. All of us had to go to the county headquarters where you were born, and I went to Kabarnet, Baringo county, despite studying in Nairobi,” she said.
“I haven’t had much experience except for my pupillage, which I did in parliament, so I had the legislative policy creation experience, but now I will have a whole new world of experience; I can go to workers’ rights, occupational safety, and consumer rights,” she said excitedly.
