“I see Singapoor bloggers are now on my case. Someone must remind them who Jayne Kihara is in our Kenyan Politics. I think they’re used to dealind with politicians whose only language in politics is money and they now assume every politician has a price tag,” she said.

Has Jayne Kihara ditched Gachagua’s camp?

Kihara explained that she made up her mind long ago never to associate with Ruto, adding that there would be nothing reasonable to attract him back to Kenya Kwanza.

She said she is committed to the United Opposition’s mission against the current regime, which she accused of a handful of vices, among them corruption and extrajudicial killings.

The MP restated that she doesn’t belong in the crop of politicians who are moved by money, adding that she would be ready to sacrifice anything for the good of Kenya.

“For avoidance of doubt, I left the lying camp a long time ago, and I never left anything that belongs to me there that can make me go back. If you’re looking for leaders to buy with your looted public money, and anyone suggested my name to you, please send them back to the market,” Kihara said.

The journey to liberate this Country from the shackles of Corruption, dictatorship, extrajudicial killings and perpetual lies is not about Jayne Kihara or Rigathi Gachagua but about the current and future generations. Some of us are ready to sacrifice anything for the sake of this Nation,” she added.

Which MPs have ditched Gachagua?

Gachagua has been losing some of his allies to Ruto.

Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba and Juja’s George Koimburi have assimilated themselves into Ruto’s camp after a while of supporting Gachagua in opposing the current regime in power.

Wamuchomba, in a candid admission, stated that Gachagua’s character makes him unsuitable for national leadership.

She hinted that aligning with him had been difficult, signalling a retreat from her earlier opposition to Ruto.

The MP vouched for her political reunion with Ruto, noting that it will benefit the Githunguri constituents in terms of development.

Why George Koimburi quit Gachagua’s camp

On his part, Koimburi alleged that Gachagua’s camp was dishonest and detrimental to Kenyans, especially communities in the Mt. Kenya region.
