A Kenyan man has sparked lively reactions on social media after returning to his former high school in a fancy car to collect his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate.

@Billkigs returned to Lumakanda Boys six years after sitting for the national exams, and a video of him driving to the school compound has left many Kenyans in awe.

In his TikTok video, he made a grand entrance into Lumakanda, with the moment coming with a sweet wave of nostalgia as he remembered his time in the school.

The smartly dressed man was seen gesturing to some of his favourite spots in the school while driving into the premises, ready to pick up his academic certificate.

It was a special moment for him to reminisce about his high school days, which partly built him into the man he is today.

“Going to pick up my KCSE certificate at Lumukanda Boys,” he captioned his video.

He did not, however, reveal why delayed in picking up the document.

Bill’s KCSE certificate video goes viral on TikTok

Many Kenyans were impressed that the former student went back to the school while driving, and his video quickly got the attention of many on TikTok.

Netizens who commented admired the idea of driving oneself to pick up the document, with others vowing to only return to their former high schools after buying their cars.

Others in the comment section narrated their personal experiences after going for their KCSE certificates.
