Muigai’s first wife, Njeri, previously claimed that the gospel singer dumped her at 28 with three children and married Stacey as his second wife.
Njeri narrated how she sank into depression, resorting to drinking alcohol and staying at bars the whole night until morning.
“When I found that he had married another woman, I went crazy. I went so crazy, and I was so mad. He was not able to handle my anger. He left me and the kids in Mwihoko and went to live with that woman. I fought, cried, I was stressed and in disbelief. I was always in the pub until morning. It is very painful. I went through hell. People did not know what I was going through,” she said during a past interview with Kameme FM.

Muigai and Tracey were blessed with three children and formalised their union in August 2023.

Muigai and Stacey have been serving couple goals until late last year when fans noticed they were no longer posting each other.
The last time they were seen in public was at a Ngemi Festival event in Naivasha.
Fast forward to 2026; rumours have been circulating that there is trouble in paradise, but neither Mugai nor Stacey has responded to the claims.
A post by Stacey mocking her co-wife, Njeri, for walking out of their polygamous marriage has re-emerged online. Netizens unearthed the post, reminding Stacey of the pain Njeri went through when Muigai dumped her (first wife) for her.

Muigai wa Njoroge’s 2nd wife responds to critics
In another story, Stacey clapped back at a fan who claimed her husband would leave her just like his first wife.
Stacey shared a video jamming to a popular song, and a fan commented, telling her that she would be dumped by her husband.
The mother of three savagely responded to the fan with a video of the polygamous gospel singer professing love for her to prove to critics they were madly in love.
