Arusha, Tanzania: A young woman has broken down while explaining how her teen son ran away after leaving a harsh letter behind.

Speaking to Ayo TV, Jackline said that Daniel Jeremiah is only 13 years old, and he has left her while saying that he has gone to look for his own money so that she does not have to struggle taking care of him.

According to the young mum, Daniel was preparing to go to school while she was in bed, thinking that he was about to go to learn.

“After some time I went to check on him, but Daniel was nowhere to be found. That is when I went inside and found the letter,” she said.

“Mum, I’m sorry, but this is the only way that can work. I wouldn’t want you to keep struggling for me anymore. Mum, I am sorry; I feel sorry for you, the way you keep struggling for me,”he added.

How is Jackline and Daniel’s relationship?

Jacqueline denied that she had a quarrel with her son and insisted that they actually live as two friends.

“I struggle so hard to look for cash so that he does not miss anything, any of the basics that he needs. Although I work hard, I leave everything that he may need there, which includes food because he knows how to cook.

“Please come back home, my son; you are my dad, come and tell me what happened to make you run away,” she said.
