Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) secretary general Francis Atwoli has delighted netizens after pampering his wife, Mary Kilobi, at a wedding they both attended.

The couple welcomed their first son, named Atwoli Junior, after seven years of marriage. The birth of the baby boy marked the 18th child for the veteran trade union leader, who was in Geneva, Switzerland, when the delivery occurred.
Kilobi shared the joyous news on social media, expressing gratitude after years of the couple’s relationship being under public scrutiny due to their 36-year age gap.

While at a function together, Atwoli shared how his wife has been helpful and even credited her for studying him so well.
“Reverend, I want to thank you, Maria, come here. If it were not for her, I would not be here. She is the one who looks after me, knows what time I am taking my medicine, knows when I am tired, and understands me when I am angry. She has studied me so well,” he said.
He then asked Kilobi to give out their wedding gift, which was in a white envelope, before thanking her.
