Nigeria: A Catholic priest identified as Gabriel Dozie has shared a dream he had after the death of fast-rising singer, Ifunanya Nwangene, popularly known as Nanyah Music, from a snake bite.

The death of the beautiful singer caught many by surprise, as she was bitten right inside her home, and although she was taken to the hospital, she did not make it.
The choir that Nanyah belonged to officially announced the death, sparking reactions from many Nigerians; they also reacted when the name of the hospital where she died was mentioned.
What advice did Nanya’s friend give her?
After Nyanyah died, leaked chats between the singer and her showed a friend had advised Ifunanya to fumigate her entire room moments after the fatal bite.
At the time, the friend was unaware she was fighting for her life; she later shared a touching poem mourning the singer and sparked emotional reactions across social media.

He also shared having a strange dream about the singer hours after she died on January 31, 2026. He shared a post on social media.
“Why are some people quick to rebut without ascertaining clarifications! You people like rebuttals a lot . Well, I’ll have the time to clarify later,” said Gabriel in a Facebook post.
“For now I’m mourning my daughter Ifụnanya Nwangene. She wished me a happy birthday just three days ago and now is no more. Saw her in dream yesterday, after I had done Mass re-invoking her spirit back to her body. For now I’ll only say, do not be quick to embalm people who just died. I can’t even say rest in Jesus yet,” he said.

A snake handler who was called to inspect her house found the snakes; there were a medium-sized cobra, a smaller one near the doormat, and another in the compound.
