Did Natasha pay dowry for her Indian husband?

In another report, Natasha revealed that she and her husband, Prophet Stanley Carmel, both paid dowry to honour their respective Indian and Kenyan cultural traditions.

After their engagement, Natasha was surprised to learn that Indian custom required the bride’s family to provide dowry, leading the couple to decide on a balanced approach that respected both backgrounds.

To fulfill these rites, Carmel paid the bride price in Kenya in 2022, while Natasha paid the dowry as required by his family in Kerala, India.

The unique arrangement sparked a variety of reactions from Kenyans on social media, with some praising the mutual respect for culture while others expressed hesitation about adopting such a practice.
