How did Muthee Kiengei help a needy student?
Taking to his Facebook page, Kiengei shared the story of a student who reached out to him via WhatsApp.

The student, whose identity was protected, explained that she had struggled to find Kiengei’s number seeking help with clearing school fees.
The student, in her final year at the Nairobi Institute of Business Studies, said she was short of KSh 15,750, the exact amount needed to sit for her final exams.

She further revealed that she was an orphan raised by her grandmother.
“I am requesting that you could pay even half the amount. I promise to work hard so that I can help her, but the only problem is my fee balance. Please, Bishop Kiengei, help me, and God will bless you even more,” the student wrote.
Kiengei responded, asking the student to share her school bank account details. He then cleared the full balance and later sent the student a touching message after receiving her blessings.
“Just pray for me and tell your grandmother to mention me in her prayers,” Kiengei wrote.
Sharing the WhatsApp exchange online, Kiengei explained that her ability to help was made possible through the offertory contributions from church members.
“Kazi ya Sadaka… All the best, our Kikuyu daughter. If we cross paths in this life, just remind me that I was a kind woman,” he added.
