The young lady was thrust into the spotlight after being photographed with George Ruto in Bali around May 2025, fuelling speculation. Sheila was prompted to clarify that her meeting with George was purely coincidental during a trip to Bali, where she and her male friend met him.
Despite facing online criticism, Sheila emphasised that she was not dating George and discussed the photo’s personal significance.
She shared how the experience was meaningful, especially given her humble background, but also acknowledged the emotional and financial toll the backlash had on her.
Sheila also expressed her love for Kenya and sympathy for the struggles many citizens face under the current government.

“Upcoming airline honouring the late Raila Amollo. Raila Airways Where a legacy rises above the clouds,” their motto goes.
Raila Airways even has a website, which delves further into the project.
“We’ve just acquired our first aircraft, a big first step on our journey and are now working on the necessary registrations to bring our vision to life. Stay tuned, the adventure begins soon!”
The website also delved a bit into Sheila, describing her as an aviation visionary based in Singapore. The website indicates that the airline will focus on Asia-wide operations but plans to expand into international markets, connecting Asia to the rest of the world.
In December, Sheila announced that they were raising awareness ahead of the launch and would start recruiting soon.
“Recruitment for training across all sectors will commence soon. All applicants must hold a valid passport and a yellow fever vaccination card. Further details will be communicated through our official website as updates are released.”
She also announced that they would open opportunities for investors in 2026.
