A video of a group of men trying to get their loved one be in a sitting position in the grave has stunned many people who were wondering what their endgame was.

The video begins with the coffin lying flat in the grave, and eventually, two men start preparing it for a sitting position; they pull it and drag it into place.

To make the coffin easier to fold, the men meticulously broke some parts in the middle, and then they eventually folded it well and made their loved one sit. As the men were hard at work, the group of mourners who had attended the burial ceremony sang Christian songs and those meant to send him away with love.

Some people wondered why the dead body was not stiff and did not give the men a hard time putting it in position, as some bodies do because of rigor Mortis; clearly, they had already handled that part.

A man identified as Joel Mwangi Wa Marenye said the video reminded him of when he attended a burial in Webuye, and when they went to get the body, they slipped on some spilt porridge on the stairs, and the corpse went flying down.

“The deceased rolled on the ground, and the women started screaming,the elderly men allegedly commanded 200 chickens to be cooked to appease ancestors. We buried the body at 6 pm, and the people who repaired the coffin had two chicken each,” he claimed.
