He trended after clips emerged of him approaching and later meeting several women in encounters that many described as more than platonic.
Why is a Russian man trending?
In the clips, he is seen approaching random women in the streets and malls, striking up conversations that often end with him asking for their contacts and arranging to meet later.

The footage, seemingly recorded using Meta glasses, then switches to scenes of him welcoming the women to his house, where the interactions appear to become more private.
According to reports from TUKO.co.ke’s sister outlet, Yen.com.gh, Truhov had allegedly done the same in Ghana, documenting similar encounters.
What happened between Serina and Russian man?
Among the many trending videos, one in particular caught the attention of netizens. A lady identified as Serina went viral after she was spotted with Truhov.
Their clip followed a familiar pattern, they met at a mall, and later footage showed her arriving at his residence.
However, Serina has been among the few women who have come out to defend themselves publicly.
She maintained that her interaction with Truhov was purely professional from the moment they met.
According to her, she went to his home strictly in her capacity as a real estate agent to discuss property acquisition.

During a TikTok Live session, Serina stated that she made her exit once she realised the meeting was veering away from business and becoming inappropriate.
She denied engaging in any activities with him, insisting that the circulating footage was edited or framed in a way meant to insinuate otherwise.
The real estate agent further noted that the saga has brought her shame and embarrassment, not only to herself but also to her family.
She claimed her husband has even threatened to divorce her over the public backlash stemming from the viral video.
Despite the criticism online, Serina has remained adamant that she wants to clear her name, arguing that facts about her encounter with Truhov have been misrepresented.

What did Serina’s boss say?
New footage has since surfaced online showing how Serina’s boss at the real estate company she works for reacted to the viral clip and her explanation.
In the video, the employer backed Serina’s account. She explained that Serina had informed her in advance that she had secured a meeting with a white client who wanted to view properties and had invited her to his residence for discussions.
According to the boss, Serina later contacted her to report that the meeting had fallen through after the client, identified as Truhov, allegedly made inappropriate advances towards her.
“She contacted me to report that the client had been making inappropriate advances towards her, which compelled her to leave the premises immediately. No further interaction occurred,” Serina’s boss stated, asserting that she will keep her job.

Are the Russian man’s videos edited?
In a separate incident, another woman featured in the viral Russian man videos denied being involved with him privately, insisting the footage had been edited to mislead viewers.
She claimed that when he approached her, she gave him a fake phone number and name to prevent further contact and avoid any personal relationship.
Her statement sparked debate online, with netizens divided over whether the clips had been manipulated or were genuine.
