The ministry noted that successful candidates will work under the Integrated Natural Resources Management Programme (INREMP) funded by the Kenyan government and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

It seeks to enhance the food, nutrition, and financial security of rural households in an environment that is robust to climate change and sustainable.

The positions are based in the Regional Programme Coordination and Management Unit (RPCMU) in Kisumu and the National Programme Coordination and Management Unit (PCMU) in Eldoret.
The programme will be conducted in 10 counties located in the Lake Victoria Basin, Mau West, and Cherangany, which are important catchment areas.
The ministry advertised the job vacancies in an advertisement published in the government newspaper MyGov on Tuesday, February 17.
“The Ministry invites qualified, experienced, and dynamic individuals to apply for the following positions,” the advertisement read.

What is the application procedure?
It asked interested and qualified candidates to submit their academic and professional certificates through the National Employment Authority Integrated Management System (NEAIMS).
“Interested applicants are advised to sign-up and apply for any of the above advertised positions through the NEAIMS portal,” it explained the application process.
Below are the steps:
- Access the National Employment Authority’s Integrated Management System portal.
- Register as a jobseeker or intern.
- Log in and capture your CV/profile comprehensively.
- Complete the portal registration form.
- Submit an application for the desired employment or positions as posted.
- Wait for the shortlisting process to be completed and regularly check the status of your application.
The deadline to submit applications is Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
What will shortlisted candidates submit?
- An updated curriculum vitae (CV).
- Copies of academic and professional certificates and ID.
- Supporting testimonials and documents.
- A recommendation letter from your current or recent supervisor (optional).
