A day ago, TUKO.co.ke reported that Bahati officially underwent a DNA test with Judith Makokha, a woman who went viral claiming to be his biological mother after allegedly abandoning him at an orphanage due to financial struggles.
Despite having seen his own mother buried years ago and being sceptical due to tribal differences, Bahati decided to meet Judith, buy her groceries, and pursue a scientific verification out of compassion for her genuine story.
How did Bahati’s mum meet the singer’s ‘father’?
The DNA results are expected to be released in 14 days, and Bahati maintained he was open to any outcome while performing his due diligence on the matter.

During an interview, Judith narrated what she claimed happened between her and Bahati’s ‘father’ that led to them parting ways.
“I do not know where the dad is because I met him while I was still so young, in 1993, when I came to look for a job. So God made me leave Western because there was something I was coming to get. I met him where I was working, and they were three men. Two Luhyas and a Kamba. The Kamba man is who I found an interest in. He said he did not want a friendship; he wanted to get married. So I accepted, and we stayed together for 7 months,” she said.
According to Judith, she told the man that she wanted to update her parents about her being married, as she did not want to hide the relationship from them.
However, her parents were against the marriage, which later strained things between them, forcing them to part ways.
She also admitted that she does not know where the man is and that they had not been in contact since they parted ways.
