While at Mary’s Mbiuni Rehabilitation Centre in Machakos County at a fundraising event, she noted that her father had sent her to represent the family because of her professional background.

What does Stephanie Ruto do?

During the rare public appearance, she emphasised that the contribution came from her family’s collective love for children and their commitment to supporting the future of the youth.

She spoke highly of her job, giving insights into her professional life despite being one of the president’s kids who keeps a low profile.

“I am so happy to be here. When my dad told me there was a fundraiser, he chose to tell me because, actually, by profession, I am a children’s officer. So I work a lot with children, so I am very happy to be here. I am not a politician, I do not talk much, but I am happy to see the children. We will do all we can to support and finance,” she said.

The law graduate is the president’s third daughter. She graduated from Strathmore University six years ago.
