Everton won the reverse fixture at Old Trafford despite playing with 10 men for more than 70 minutes of the game after Idrissa Gana Gueye was sent off for hitting his teammate.
The Toffees have won twice in their last five games and currently sit in ninth place with 37 points. A win on Monday night will see them displace Bournemouth in eighth and reduce the gap between them and the Red Devils to five points.
Who will miss Everton vs Manchester United?
At least five players could miss the game at Everton’s new stadium for various reasons, but the injury list for both clubs has receded significantly in recent years.
For the hosts, Jake O’Brien will be suspended after he was sent off in their last game against Bournemouth for the denial of a goalscoring opportunity.
Manchester City loanee Jack Grealish is also out after suffering a significant foot injury that will rule him out for the rest of the season.

As for Carrick, Patrick Dorgu is a definite absentee after the full-back turned winger tore his hamstring in the win against Arsenal last month.
Other absentees include Mason Mount and Matthijs de Ligt, who are still out with a knock and a back injury, respectively.
“Yeah, Mason’s getting closer. I think we’re going to be patient as well, and we have been patient with him, so we don’t want to push anything. He’s an important part of the group, Mason, and we want him back and fit, and he’ll have a big impact on us. So, he’s getting closer, which is good for us, said Carrick via the club’s website.
“Matta, a little bit working towards it, but as I said last week, he’s a little bit behind Mason, really, so we’re just trying to work with him, to progress him, to get him a bit closer.”
Kickoff is at 11 pm EAT.
