TSC announced the career opportunities in an advertisement published in the government newspaper, MyGov, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

What is the application process for TSC jobs?

TSC asked interested and qualified candidates to submit their academic and professional certificates through its recruitment portal by Monday, March 9, 2026.

“The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is a constitutional commission established under Article 237 of the Kenya Constitution 2010. The commission invites applications from qualified, result-orientated and highly motivated Kenyans to fill the positions below.

Interested and qualified candidates are requested to visit the commission’s website for the full job description and specifications and submit an online application not later than 2359 hours (East African Time) on Monday, March 9, 2026,” the advertisement read.

The commission reiterated the following:

  1. TSC is dedicated to providing fair employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, people of all ethnic groups, and men and women.
  2. Minorities, marginalised people, and people with disabilities are urged to apply.
  3. At no point during the hiring process does TSC charge for an application, processing, interview, or other cost.
  4. Presenting fraudulent certifications or documents and providing false information on an application are both illegal.
  5. Only those who have been shortlisted and selected will be notified.

Which documents should candidates prepare?

Career development associate Simon Ingari noted that Kenyans seeking government jobs must meet several requirements.

These include compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity.

“Most government jobs require compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution. That means you must submit a police clearance (certificate of good conduct from the DCI), a KRA tax compliance certificate, HELB clearance, EACC clearance and a CRB report,” Ingari told TUKO.co.ke.

The career expert advised job seekers to prepare the documents in advance.

“Prepare these documents if you are serious about being employed by the government, as they often take time to process,” he recommended.

Which other institutions advertised jobs?

In other job-related news, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) advertised attachment opportunities for students.

The three-month programme, which runs from May to July 2026, is intended for diploma students in their last year of study as well as continuing undergraduate students in their third, fourth, or final year.

The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) also invited applications for the CEO role.
