Karen Nyamu and Samidoh’s daughter celebrated her birthday on February 26.

The now ex-lovebirds welcomed their daughter, Taraya Wairimu aka Nimu, in February 2022, just before the mother of three was nominated as a senator. She has always referred to her daughter as a “bottom-up” baby. Samidoh and Nyamu have tow children.

For two years, Nyamu and Samidoh always celebrated their daughter, throwing lavish parties for her, but since 2025, the Mugithi singer hasn’t been posting his children with the nominated senator.

On February 26, Nimu turned four, and as usual, her mother pampered her with love. The nominated senator shared photos of her all-grown third-born daughter, accompanied by sweet messages.

“Cutest little thing. And just like that, my lastborn is four. Sweetest surprise God put in my life. I see so much of myself in her. She fills my heart with gratitude. I’m so excited for the years ahead. Watching this one grow is going to be so much fun,” Nyamu wrote.

Fans wondered why Samidoh didn’t celebrate his fourth child, with many wondering when he last saw his children with Nyamu.

Fans of Nyamu joined her in celebrating her daughter’s birthday, and below are their messages to the little girl.

Are Samidoh and Karen Nyamu co-parenting?

Previously, Nyamu revealed that she and Samidoh were no longer together after they stopped posting each other, saying she had someone new in 2024. The mother of three went ahead to explain the reasons they broke up.

Fast forward to February 2025, during their daughter’s birthday, Nyamu hinted that she and Samidoh were having trouble co-parenting.

Despite previously revealing that she was in a relationship, Nyamu recently hinted at being a single mother, urged single mothers to pursue their dreams despite societal pressures, challenging critics who claim marital status defines a woman’s ability to lead, and called for respect for all single mothers.

Nyamu and her first baby daddy, DJ Saint Kevin, are successfully co-parenting their pre-teen daughter. The mother of three always praises the disc jockey for being a present father to their daughter.
