Nairobi: One person has been killed and several others injured following a collision involving a City Shuttle bus and several private vehicles along Valley Road.

The accident occurred on Monday morning, March 9, after the bus lost control and rammed into several cars on the busy road, causing a traffic snarl-up.
What caused the Valley Road accident?
Preliminary reports indicate that eight people were injured and rushed to nearby hospitals as investigations into the crash continue.

Prior to the crash, the driver, who was heading to Nairobi CBD, reportedly warned his passengers of a brake failure. He fled the scene after the tragic incident.
The deceased has been identified as a boda boda rider. His passenger was severely injured.
A video circulating online showed a woman emotionally praying after reportedly surviving the accident.
“I have not seen anyone like you, Lord. There is no one to compare with you, Almighty God. No one possesses the power that you have,” she prayed amid tears.
