A puzzling CCTV footage has captured how the slain KMTC girl Sheila Chebet was led to the spot where her lifeless body would later be found.

Twenty-year-old Sheila was found dead a few days ago, with her lover, Vincent Bett, being the prime suspect in her murder.
Details shared by Inooro TV indicate that the young woman met with the prime suspect at a bar before they went to the house of Bett’s friend on March 28, 2026.

CCTV shows Sheila’s last moments
CCTV from the fateful night shows Bett and Sheila leaving the house at 7.52pm, with the man seemingly leading the young woman towards the path leading to the area where her body was discovered.

Sheila was already heading towards the town direction when Bett gestured her to take the detour, seemingly unaware of the danger that lay ahead.
Bett’s friend said that he later called and said they had been attacked, but did not divulge more details.
“He called me and said they had been attacked, and then he hung up. I called again, and he did not pick up, so I texted him, asking where he was and where the young woman was. He told me that he had left the young woman with the people who attacked them, and that he had her phone,” Edwin, Bett’s friend said.
He made a report of the attack the following morning, at 8am, just two hours before her body was discovered.

According to the police, investigations are ongoing with Bett as the primary suspect, as he was with the deceased in her last hours.
The 20-year-old was a first-year student at KMTC in Karatina, Nyeri County.
