Mercy Jepkurui was hosting her baby shower at her village home when she decided to honour her father with a thoughtful and generous gesture.
The expectant mother surprised him in a beautiful way, leaving him beaming with joy during the event held at their home.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Beneks Val explained how they helped Jepkurui achieve her dream of improving her father’s home with new, luxurious furniture.
“We visited the house one Sunday when Jepkurui’s dad was away at church. We took measurements and conducted a reconnaissance to assess what was needed,” she said.
During the baby shower, Jepkurui’s father was left stunned when a lorry loaded with furniture arrived at his compound.
What furniture did Jepkurui buy for her father?
Unaware of the planned surprise, he watched in amazement as the items, worth hundreds of thousands of shillings, were offloaded.
“The furniture included sofa sets, coffee tables, a dining set, and an office set. We also bought a carpet. The items were first arranged in the compound to give a preview of how they would look inside the house after replacing the old ones. It was a massive upgrade.
We transformed the living room, dining area, and office space with brand-new furniture tailored to the client’s preferences,” she added.
A video captured the before-and-after state of the upgraded areas, showcasing the remarkable transformation that left many impressed.
Jepkurui’s father tests latest furniture
The clip also showed Jepkurui’s father testing the new furniture outside the compound, visibly delighted with the thoughtful gift.
Guests at the baby shower sang joyfully as he moved from his office chair to the comfortable sofa set and later to the dining area.
He remained all smiles as he explored each piece, accompanied by his pregnant daughter who had organised the surprise.
His genuine happiness was evident as he appreciated the beautiful furniture purchased by his daughter.

Eldoret mum surprised with new bed
