In several posts, netizens had hilariously recounted never seeing anyone go in or out of the school, adding to the mystery of what really went on in there.

“The school is real, the students are in there, the teachers are in there, and they also have the support staff. The students are rarely seen outside because they are picked privately from inside. Besides, there are not that many, that’s why you rarely see them outside the gate.”

Netizens were treated to a front-row seat experience of what goes on inside the institution. The school features an exotic ambience characteristic of an international school, the moment you step in through the gate.

They have modern classrooms and fully equipped laboratories. The classrooms are fitted with massive windows that give a clear view of the outdoors. Each student is assigned a storage area to store personal items while in school.

Inside the boarding facilities lie a mosque, a spacious dining hall and well-kept dormitories. The school principal hailed the school as a leading provider of international curriculum while praising the diversity of learners and an optimum teacher-student ratio.

How much is fees at Soma International School?

According to the website, the school charges KSh 375,000 tuition fee annually for learners from Grade 2 to Grade 12. This translates to KSh 125,000 per term for three terms, not including ICT and lab fees that range between KSh 60,000 to KSh 90,00 annually.

The learners also pay a medical fee of KSh 30,000 and KSh 45,000 for meals.
