However, it remained one of those dreams often set aside as life moves on due to the hustle and bustle of life.
Why Agata was worried
In a heartwarming post on Facebook, Agata disclosed that it soon became a heartfelt mission, one that could no longer be postponed.
Agata made the dream happen by travelling with her parents to Durban, a vibrant coastal city known for its warm beaches and relaxed charm.
Yet, behind the excitement lay a quiet fear she could not ignore. The journey, while meaningful, came with uncertainty.
“My father depends on oxygen support for most of the day, up to 18 hours. I kept asking myself, will he manage?” she recalls.
Agata’s father rekindled joy
But what unfolded during the trip was something she hadn’t expected. On one particular day, her father spent hours without connecting to his oxygen machine.
More striking than the medical milestone, however, was the visible transformation in his spirit.
“Look at him… is this even the same person?” Agata says, sharing photos of her vibrant father.
There was laughter, full and unrestrained. There was light in his eyes. And there was something deeper, something almost intangible: a return to joy.
