Nairobi county: Several people are feared to be trapped under the rubble of a collapsed building in the Highrise area of Kibera.

In a statement, the Kenya Red Cross Society said emergency response teams are already at the scene conducting rescue efforts.
“A building collapse has been reported in the Highrise area of Kibera. Emergency response teams are currently on site carrying out search and rescue operations. An unconfirmed number of individuals are feared to be trapped beneath the debris,” the Red Cross said.
